Vertigo Releasing was formed by Vertigo Films, to specialise in film acquisition and distribution.  They have worked with with some incredible directors such as the BAFTA and BIFA winning Babak Anvari (Under The Shadow), Taika Waititi (Boy, Hunt for the Wilderpeople), Gareth Edwards (Monsters), Nicolas Winding Refn(Bronson), BAFTA-nominated Johnny Harris and Thomas Napper (Jawbone).

Vertigo Releasing also represents the Vertigo Films film library in the UK which includes Bronson, Horrid Henry the Movie, StreetDance 3D and Monsters.

Vertigo set up Protagonist Pictures with partners Film 4 and Ingenious. The company is an international sales, finance, and production company with a proven track record in outstanding films and commercial successes. Based in the UK, the company handles films from around the world, always maintaining a strong focus on filmmakers with exceptional vision and storytelling skills.
